Man, I miss it. I really wish my car was a MANual. Now I'm hunting for parts to convert my Camry V6 to a 5 speed manual.

Why not buy a more interesting car with a manual?
Just saying...
Also trying to resell a car that originally came with an automatic, but now converted to manual with lower the resale value.

Resale value on these cars are squat anyways. Although presumed rare, there's quite a few XV20 V6 Camrys with the stick made, so they're not hard to find. Better to buy one of those than swap an AT car, which will be an easier sale.

Don't do it unless you have a large disposable income and too much time.
In agreement here that you should prob move on, use it as a daily ride.
Have a buddy with a Fiero who wants to drop the auto... But that's kinda a different situation altogether.
If I was obsessed with the idea of building a sporty whip, I'd probably spend all that time saved by not doing the transmission swap on detailing cars or something else on the side for cash money. With the extra cash and the money saved from not buying a transmission, I'd be able to buy a good starter platform. Just a thought.

Fair enough, I mean I think about it from time to time... After I finish school I'll be buying a BRZ anyways (WITH STICK WOO), keeping the Camry for the winter time.

Fair enough, I mean I can't sell this Camry (mine is an XV30, V6 is auto only, but same engine and subframe design as the XV20 so the E153 manual bolts up) which is the main reason for contemplation. Probably won't end up happening however, I'm saving up for a BRZ (with a stick) to buy after I finish university.
